 Elektrofilm Group acquires its first Definity Digital Film Recorder for its Berlin facility.
Immediately on its arrival at Elektrofilm DEFINITY took on several feature film productions: since then Elektrofilm has completed a number of feature film projects with DEFINITY, in linear and in logarithmic space, on negative as well as intermediate stocks, thus making full use of the film recorder's capabilities. At Elektrofilm DEFINITY operates in conjunction with DigitalVision's Nucoda grading suite and FilmLight'sTruelight color management system, establishing Berlin's first fully calibrated Digital Intermediate workflow. With further facilities in Burbank and Munich rapidly expanding Elektrofilm has a number of award-winning productions, including Academy Award nominations, to its record. Elektrofilm Website
